汉仪瘦金书字形瘦长，结构潇洒，笔致劲健，特见锋芒顿挫。 其用笔源于褚、薛，瘦直挺拔，横画收笔带勾，竖画收笔带顿点，撇如匕首，捺如切刀，竖钩细长，有些连笔象游丝行空，已近行书。 结体笔势取黄庭坚大字楷书，舒展劲挺。
