Desonanz is a contemporary sans-serif typeface designed by German designer Erik Spiekermann in collaboration with his colleagues Fabian "Felix" Adelt and Ralph du Carrois. The font was first released in 2019 by the type foundry, The FontShop International. Desonanz is inspired by the modernist typefaces of the 20th century, such as Akzidenz Grotesk and Univers, and features a distinctive geometric design with rounded terminals. The font comes in six weights, from light to black, with matching italics and includes a large character set with support for multiple languages. It is a versatile typeface suitable for various design applications, including branding, editorial design, and digital interfaces.
